Notice of Training: USCG Approved Combined Basic & Advanced Fire Fighting (NOWRTC-125)

The Northwest Regional Fire Training Center is announcing the upcoming training dates for the United States Coast Guard Approved Combined Basic & Advanced Fire Fighting (NOWRTC-125) course.

Course Schedule

All classes will begin at 8:00 AM and dismiss daily at 5:00 PM. Please check for availability prior to registering.

  • GLMA Students Only: December 14-18, 2026; January 4-8, 2027; March 29-April 2, 2027
  • Industry Only: February 1-5, 2027

Cost & Billing

  • NMC/GLMA Students: Student accounts will be billed $700 upon completion of the course.
  • Industry Students: Billing can be arranged with an on-line link sent to a company email address.

Prerequisites

  • Trainees certify that they are 18 years of age.
  • Trainees must be adequately conversant in the English language to complete the requirements as outlined in 46 CFR 201(b).
  • All trainees must provide a photo ID which is issued by a government agency.
  • Trainees must be certified by a doctor to be in good health.
  • This course is open to all seafarers and prospective seafarers and should be completed prior to employment on a sea-going ship.
